Raksha-Bandhan bells

Another year, Another day.... Favorite among all to celebrate Raksha bandhan,  a day to celebrate your siblings. Raksha Bandhan is an Indian festival, which comes in the month of August on a full moon day. It is when a sister performs a ceremony and ties a sacred, decorated thread called rakhi around her brother's wrist. Raksha Bandhan as a word depicts a bond of protection and guidance. It is not important to celebrate this festival only with your brother, also with your sister. It is a day of appreciation and celebration. It is an ancient tradition that has its roots in northern India but is now celebrated nationwide. My wishes to all brothers and sisters out there, stranger and known, to celebrate this sacred bond of family.
A brothers love always protects you ,
A sisters love always follows you.

Siblings are a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit. - Anonymous.

Siblings are one who are there when you need them, may vanish sometimes; someone who picks you up when you fall down but don't forget they will laugh first and pick you up second; a person who will sticks up on you when no one else will but remember they might not do the same in front of parents to tease you; they are always a friend (indeed).

I would like to take this opportunity to thank-you, as I have never done this before I guess, or you wouldn't have considered it ever. So, here's a written proof: Thank-you so much for always being on my side even when I was wrong quite a few times. Half of the times I know whenever we fight or try to wrestle deep down it's always an excuse to hug each-other. We perfectly act normal until we get together and this annoys everyone around but who cares! I may not appreciate you, You are amazing and i would rather prefer spending time chilling with you than going to some vacations.

Without we being together our childhood would have been incomplete and imperfect. I still remember the times when I used to cry after hurting you unintentionally, when I used to stand by your side whenever you were scolded but you were so amazing to leave my side and enjoy the times when I was scolded. So, we were Partners and Rivals both.

We fought like animals,
we argued like lawyers,
we cried like babies,
we chilled like spoiled brats,
we smiled at memories,
we are Siblings.

Lets promise each-other to stand shoulder to shoulder, who stands a chance against us?

We may always end up fighting, but this is our kind of "I love you"

To the outside world we all grow old, But not to brothers and sisters.
We know each other as we always were, we know each others hearts,
We share private family jokes, We remember family feuds and secrets,
family griefs and joy. We live outside the touch of time. - Clara Ortega.

Happy Raksha Bandhan, no matter what I will always be by your side. We are separated by distance not by heart. Enjoy the day and remember you can only kid the world, not me!
