Another year, Another day.... Favorite among all to celebrate Raksha bandhan, a day to celebrate your siblings. Raksha Bandhan is an Indian festival, which comes in the month of August on a full moon day. It is when a sister performs a ceremony and ties a sacred, decorated thread called rakhi around her brother's wrist. Raksha Bandhan as a word depicts a bond of protection and guidance. It is not important to celebrate this festival only with your brother, also with your sister. It is a day of appreciation and celebration. It is an ancient tradition that has its roots in northern India but is now celebrated nationwide. My wishes to all brothers and sisters out there, stranger and known, to celebrate this sacred bond of family. A brothers love always protects you , A sisters love always follows you.
