Celebrate your Bestie : An open Letter to Best Friend.

Dear Best Friend,

Just to let you know, don't be so excited as this won't just be an appreciation letter but a complaint letter too and much more. I honestly don't know where to start , there is a long list of things i would like to tell you. there's a lot i could say as we have shared lots of memories(good and bad).

We have been there for each other and have known secrets too. It's been years we are together despite many clashes (Off-course you were wrong at many times). Wishes to grow by sides and build a strong bond with time. I remember our late night phone calls, sleep overs, writing letters, our silly talks and serious too sometimes, the fun we have had through the years. 

Few years from now, I'm gonna look back and remember that you were that one person who could turn every frown into a smile and a smile into a frown in seconds. You are Wine in life, that gets better with time. I want you to know " Our Friendship isn't a big thing- its a million little things". I would always love you for your worst and promise to give you strength whenever needed. Since the day you walked into my life, we got along just perfectly. You were like the perfect piece to my puzzle, but you became a part of me.

"Growing apart from best-friends is difficult, nothing compares to that. Nothing can hurt worse than realizing you don't fit with your best friend any longer".

There was a time we didn't talk to each other because of misunderstanding or we were not ready to understand each other's perspective being rigid about our own parts. Still we used to best check up on each other to see how one is doing. But every-time I get the urge to talk to you, it suddenly hits me that "we are strangers" now.

Even though, if anything changes with time, I want you to know that,

I'm still here, I'll still be here for you.

I'll still lend my shoulders and ears.

I won't care what time it is, what I'm doing.

Don't hesitate to talk to me, as I'll always be waiting to hear from you.

Let's chuck things from the past as we were both wrong at sometime or the other. I want you to remember, A good mate according to me is not the one who just pumps you up for everything you do, no matter whether it's wrong or right, where their won't be any clashes, where one agrees with whatever the other one says as its not his loss basically, he won't be worried. True friends would be the one who fights with you for you doing wrong, even if others favors you. Time teaches us all who our real friends are. The one who saves friendship is not a friend I guess. A friend is the one who doesn't bother about if friendship breaks instead bothers about a friend. So be wise and choose your friends as you have already been ditched by many. Embrace me and feel lucky to have me. No, honestly think a lot about sharing your stuff with your so-called friends as I may not be there with you but i will be there for you. I don't want you to be hurt because of silly people. You know, you can party and laugh with everyone but it takes someone special to cry with. I am always there for you no matter what.

Now we are Long distance best friends, our timings don't match and we are unable to talk too but I promise this won't make any difference between us. Phone calls, text and Video calls have become our favorite resource to catch up as we have much more to tell each-other. I am counting down the days I will get to see you. I know it hurts, not being able to see each-other in person like most best friends do but I know you are always just a phone call away. Distance won't put a strain in our friendship. We would never replace each-other or we wouldn't know each-other as well anymore. In case I haven't told you this enough, thank-you for your constant support and friendship. I love you long time best friend.
