WHAT IS MINIATURE DRAWING?
Miniature in general refers to as tiny or small. Miniature drawing is a small sketch or painting of  a view that is quite big in real (small version). It could be detailed or a line drawing. one can practice miniature artwork on any base (cloth, paper, stone, leaf).

Miniature drawing is quite complex as you don't have much space over the base so it helps you gain better practice and knowledge of lines, perspective, placement and control over your hand of drawing. Miniature artworks are easy to store, they are mainly done as series work or artwork to preserve in an album.

WHAT ART SUPPLIES ARE USED FOR MINIATURE ARTWORKS?
There is no particular art material for miniature drawing artworks. One can use any base (cloth, canvas, paper, card stock, stone, leaf, almonds, metal, etc.). Pointed/sharpened pencils are preferable for clear outline or sketch. Pens used can be Sharpie Pen Fine Tip, Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliner Pen , Staedtler Pen Pigment Liner, Faber- Castell Pitt Artist Pens, Artline Pens.
